Ice Rink

We are currently awaiting approval from the Special Events Committee board for our proposed 80’x40’ temporary ice rink in town from December 2026 to March 2027. Current proposed location is in the Kirk Park Parking Lot.

 Imagine coming over the hill into a Montauk winter wonderland and seeing an ice rink lit up with strung lights and seeing kids play hockey while parents sip hot cocoa and socialize from the bleachers. This will help Montauk celebrate winter and foster community.

Working with a few local vendors in setting up a fridge available 24/7 with fresh produce, including  staple pantry items to the side. This will be trust based.

Starting June 14th, 2026  we will be collecting drop off donations at the Montauk School. These drop offs will be sorted and cleaned. Then we will display them in a donated store front from fall to spring. We currently have two offers and are choosing our best fit. Stay tuned.

Clothing for all ages in good condition will be accepted. Clothing with rips, holes, stains or odors will be discarded.
